Sydney CBD
Sydney is considered one of the most attractive cities in the world helped along by the fact that Sydney is virtually a harbour city with huge expanses of our city's foreshore fronting on to Sydney Harbour where you will see ships, yachts and ferries moving around endlessly.
The most popular and most used areas for wedding video are at Circular Quay, under the span of our great Sydney Harbour Bridge, at the Rocks, Observatory Hill beside the southern end of the Bridge, Hyde Park the Botannical Gardens, Lady Macquarie's Chair, the Opera House as a backdrop, the wharves off Argyle Cut, the Public Library with it's great stone columns are just some of the outstanding backgrounds for photographers and every wedding videographer.
Central Railway Station is also a great area for a wedding videographer to move their groups into interesting backdrops.
With good summer weather, it is not uncommon to see several wedding parties strutting their stuff down in the Rocks area. As most wedding ceremonies are held around the 2 to 3pm time frame, there is a rush to get into the wedding cars and arrive at the photoshoot before the light fades to black. I have seen many wedding cars arriving simultaneously and disgorging bridal parties in the Bridge area deperately trying to get the photoshoot underway before the sun goes down. Arriving late for the wedding ceremony throws a spanner in the works.
There are lots of venues in the city CBD and don't forget the Sebel House at Kings X quite near Elizabeth Bay.
All About You wedding videographers have experienced lots of weddings in all these areas and circumstances. We've been caught with the rain and the wind but we come prepared, although it makes shooting difficult we always manage to get it together. Our wedding videos can prove that, we even shot a wedding video photoshoot during a hailstorm.
